Here’s two speakers we have lined up for this event:
Melanie Penfold, Chair of the ASMIRT Particle Therapy Working Group and Comparative Planning Coordinator for the Australian Bragg Centre, will provide us with a presentation update on the build and development of the Bragg Centre as well as an update on the work of the Particle Therapy Working Group. Her presentation is scheduled for 6:45pm ACST and is hoping to attend in person.
Mary Pennefather, Radiation Therapist from the Alan Walker Cancer Centre in Darwin, will give a presentation on the work undertaken by the centre to encourage Indigenous Australians to continue radiation therapy treatment. She is scheduled to present at 7:40pm and will be attending online.
There will also be a special feature presentation from our Sponsor, Siemens Healthineers.
