Spectrum is the official member magazine of ASMIRT, circulated in hard copy and online to medical radiation practitioners and students in five issues each year: March, May, July, September and December.

Members can access the most recent issues of Spectrum online for free via the members-only website portal.

As Spectrum magazine is provided as a member-only benefit, members can view back issues in the member portal, others can access limited digital back issues below. Catch up online here

Spectrum deliveries

If you wish to read Spectrum online only and be removed from the hardcopy mailout, visit the members portal and update your details on the Communications Details tab.
If you have not received your magazine delivery, please email membership@asmirt.org with your query.

 

Editorial Submissions

Submissions to Spectrum are welcome – share your experiences of best practice in the clinical setting, implementing evidence-based research, quality assurance, advanced practice, multi-professional collaboration, technology updates and other topics of interest to your professional colleagues by contributing an article, report or reflection.

Submissions and enquiries, including publication deadlines and content guidelines, can be emailed to the Spectrum Editor at spectrum@asmirt.org.

Submissions must be presented in Word document format, be between 550 and 1000 words in length (depending on type of article and any included images). Images should be attached as separate high-resolution jpg files (minimum 600 dpi).

Please note: All submissions accepted for publication are subject to editing for clarity, length and house style. All material accepted for publication remains the property of the author/s. Adherence to Copyright Law is the responsibility of the author/s.
