This session will cover several topics on appraising and reviewing the kinds of quantitative study designs commonly submitted to JMRS. This will include an overview of common designs, with their strengths and weaknesses; some discussion around different appraisal/reporting guidelines for assessing such studies; common design/analysis/reporting considerations that crop up in submissions; and how to “get help” if you think you need more specialised statistical input for a JMRS review.
