Are you aware of YOUR responsibilities to meet Ahpra registration requirements?
Under the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia’s (MRPBA) revised Professional Capabilities for Medical Radiation Practice which came into effect on 1 March 2020, cultural safety is now a key capability for all medical radiation practitioners (MRPs).
MRPs require a working knowledge of factors that contribute to and influence the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. These factors include history, spirituality and relationship to land, and other determinants of health in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Join us as we partner with Indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA) to bring MRPs the ASMIRT Cultural Safety series, launching a new online training initiative to continue your cultural safety professional development journey, ensuring that you fulfill your registration requirements.
This online training Level 1 – Starting with Cultural Awareness course follows on from the Cultural Safety webinar, held Wednesday 9 December and is available by registering for this IAHA program here
This course is subsidised for all ASMIRT members.
