Anaphylaxis Recognition and Management Workshop | Online

Do you administer therapeutic agents that can potentially induce anaphylaxis, such as Radiographic Contrast Media? Can you confidently and rapidly identify and recognise an anaphylactic reaction and know how to manage it?

ASMIRT, in conjunction with our trainer, Scott Cooper, have created a new workshop to educate participants in both the theory and practice of anaphylaxis recognition and management, increasing overall patient safety and reducing liability of both the participant and their employer. Completion of this workshop will also address the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care’s Acute Anaphylaxis Clinical Care Standard, released in 2021. Considering the increasing number of anaphylactic episodes in Australia from all types of allergies, all medical radiation practitioners are strongly encouraged to review the Standard and consider undertaking some form of anaphylaxis training.
