ABG Clinical Brachytherapy Workshop

Registration is now open for the Australasian Brachytherapy Group (ABG) 2021 Clinical Brachytherapy Workshop, this year held virtually, due to COVID- 19 restrictions.

The workshop will consist of two days of virtual lectures, a day of interactive training, and one day of exam preparation with additional training as required. 

This workshop is aimed at Radiation Oncology Registrars, Radiation Oncology Medical Physics Registrars and Radiation Therapists with limited or no previous brachytherapy experience. The teaching program will be aligned with the RANZCR and ACPSEM training programs and includes topics ranging from; the principles of brachytherapy, radiobiology, imaging, and radiation safety, through to clinical applications of brachytherapy for gynaecological, urological, skin, breast, and many other cancers. 

Registration fee is $330 inc GST.
