With the ongoing uncertainties of current and potential snap lockdowns due to the pandemic, many conference attendees and speakers cannot commit to travel to Melbourne for our event in June.
After many attempts and multiple postponements, unfortunately, the COVID gods continue to work against us. The Organising Committee, ASMIRT and NZIMRT have made the decision to make the ASMIRT-NZIMRT 2021 Conference a Virtual Only event.
Making this decision now provides consistency for organisers, exhibitors and attendees, and has re-ignited our team to develop a conference that fulfils the original aims that we had set around three years ago; to deliver a conference that was innovative, modern and would set a different model to build upon into the future. We will now certainly meet those aims.
We are now turning all our energies into making this an outstanding online event – an inclusive virtual offering that can now be available for everyone, regardless of location.
We have sourced a fantastic immersive and intuitive 3D event portal, which gives you multiple options to easily access live speakers and participate in Q&As, forum sessions, meet with our exhibitors, view posters and network with fellow attendees with similar interests.
You will be able to watch all presentations live and releasable presentations on demand for months after the event; there will be online social activities including yoga sessions and opportunities to win prizes.
