ASMIRT are in full support of the RANZCR’s position paper on “Informed decision making in the management of localised prostate cancer – a patient focused perspective” which has been developed to ensure that the patient with prostate cancer is at the centre of the decision-making process.
ASMIRT believes that multidisciplinary consultation should always occur prior to a treatment pathway being offered to the patient, so that the patient can make an informed decision on a treatment pathway.
