COVID-19 MRS Workforce Register

Are you a recently retired radiographer, radiation therapist, sonographer or nuclear medicine technologist able to assist during this current crisis?
Are you a vendor, keen to ensure that centres are adequately staffed and looking to assist in any way?
Are you a currently registered MRS professional that has reduced working hours at your normal workplace?

At this time of unprecedented strain on our healthcare system, the demand for medical radiation science professionals is high. To help alleviate this demand, ASMIRT is asking interested practitioners who have been out of the workforce for a short time to register for potential paid and/or volunteer work to assist during the COVID-19 health crisis. Even if you have been out of the workforce for longer you can still assist; deep cleaning CT scanners, escorting patients to and from changing rooms, assisting with paperwork – all critical tasks in themselves.
Register your interest and ability by clicking the link below and ASMIRT will match applicants with centres who have staff shortages. We will let you know when centres in your area need assistance and provide you with details of who to contact.

If you have any MRS colleagues, former colleagues, or know of recently retired radiographers, please pass this information on to them – all are welcome to register.

Please note this information regarding the state radiation licensing requirements to return back to practice under the COVID19 situation:
