Opportunities for 2 Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist’s to join the growing team at Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH) medical imaging, performing nuclear medicine procedures including Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and also to be trained and assist in radiopharmacy production and Quality Control at the RDH cyclotron facility.

We are looking for a motivated Technologist who has advanced knowledge and extensive experience in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine. Under the guidance of, and in collaboration with, the Manager of Nuclear Medicine and the medical imaging senior leadership team, this position will provide leadership for nuclear medicine and PET at the RDH. The successful applicant will have highly-developed leadership and interpersonal skills and will show enthusiasm for professional practice supervision, training and mentorship, and providing clinical support across the medical imaging team.

The position would suit an experienced technologist looking for a varied public hospital workload with no on-call service, and with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to patient-centred care.

The department has an engaged and approachable nuclear medicine physician on-site.
