About your opportunity

Fixed term temporary full-time, 76 hours per fortnight. Commencing 8/1/2024 for up to 12 months.

Graduates will gain experience in (adult and paediatric) General and Emergency Radiography, Operating Theatre, Mobile radiography, Fluoroscopy (including Catheter Laboratory) and basic CT scanning. Graduates will have the opportunity to observe other imaging modalities and Radiology Support Systems of Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

Generous remuneration package value up to $92,248 p.a. comprising:

  • Salary range of $3099.00 p.f. (HP3)
  • Annual leave and 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging and current registration with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Eligibility for or possession of Radiation Use Licence issued by Queensland Health – Radiation Health.

  • It is a mandatory requirement to be and to remain vaccinated against COVID-19 and other Vaccine Preventable Diseases.
