Duties/Abilities
Deliver high level medical imaging clinical services and leadership as a practitioner within the Medical Imaging Department at the Weipa Hospital to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health. The Weipa Hospital Medical Imaging department provides comprehensive Radiography and Ultrasound services to the western sector of the TCHHS. We are looking for an experienced Computed Tomography experienced Radiographer to lead the newly developing CT service for Weipa and the HHS as a whole. You will need to deliver high level CT services encompassing Emergency Medicine, Inpatient services as well as varied Outpatient Services. Demonstrated experience developing a new service will be highly regarded. As a medical imaging team member Radiographer also, you will also provide general, emergency, mobile radiographic duties. This service offers an interesting and varied caseload, in a supportive team environment.
