Salary: $115,666 to $121,794 per annum
Work type: Full Time, ongoing shift work, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Please also note that this process may be used to fill fixed term and casual opportunities as they arise. Part time hours may also be considered.

The Department of Health is seeking interest from suitable qualified applicants for an Operations Manager vacancy.

Within a tertiary hospital setting and in accordance with the Agency’s policies, procedures and legal requirements support the Senior Management Team by providing day to day operational management, leadership and direction to Imaging Services, within the Department of Medical Imaging at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) and RHH off-site facilities.
Manage the day-to-day human, financial and physical resources in Medical Imaging which includes the supervision of clerical, support services, and IT systems support personnel.
Manage the operational performance of the Medical Imaging Department including the development of performance indicators and ensuring that performance targets are met.
In collaboration with the Director Medical Imaging lead budget preparation, negotiation, planning, monitoring and control including maximisation of revenue for the cost-effective operation of, and efficient resource allocation within Medical Imaging Services.
