The Opportunity
The Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences is seeking to appoint an outstanding Lecturer (Radiation Therapist).
This position will be working within Monash’s Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences, which aims to prepare students for effective and ethical professional practice in medical radiation sciences and to pursue careers in radiography, medical ultrasound, radiation therapy and research. Continuously sustained student numbers in this discipline have seen the department’s success continue over time, with a key factor being the department’s talented academic and professional staff.
The Lecturer is expected to make significant contributions to innovative teaching and research of the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences and will play a major role in scholarship, research and/or professional activities, specifically in the Radiation Therapy discipline.
We are seeking someone with a doctoral or a masters qualification in Radiation Therapy or equivalent. Practitioners with a Bachelor degree in radiation therapy with clinical and teaching experience will be considered. We are also seeking someone who holds a current registration or is eligible to hold current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA).
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
