Are you a radiographer looking to begin an exciting new career?

BreastScreen Victoria is currently recruiting for a Designated Radiographer to join their brand-new screening clinic in Heidelberg. The position will work closely with the Director Quality and Clinical Care and the State Radiographer to deliver a high-quality mammography service to BreastScreen clients.

In conjunction with other radiographers and team members, the Designated Radiographer is responsible for quality assurance and efficient operations at the Heidelberg service, along with maintaining mammography equipment.

The role requires a strong commitment to quality imaging and a dedication to providing respectful care to a range of clients from diverse backgrounds and requirements.

The successful candidate will be an imaging professional. They will ideally have two years’ experience working in the profession.

Other requirements:

  • Current qualifications and registration with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia to practice in Victoria
  • Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP)
  • Current Department of Health-issued Radiation User Licence
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Excellent organisation, record-keeping and time-management skills
  • Natural problem-solver, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development
  • Full time but flexible with part time candidates who can work greater than 0.6 FTE
  • Level 7 role (range from $95,742 to $104,648)
  • Plus super (10.5%) and salary packaging
