Both positions are permanent full time positions and will be based at Dubbo, New South Wales.
Deputy Chief Radiation Therapist
The Deputy Chief Radiation Therapist is responsible for the daily management of the Radiation Therapy Service and co-ordination of the Radiation Therapist Team to provide first class Radiation Therapy services in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team of radiation therapists and work in a supportive environment.

Radiation Therapist Supervisor
The Radiation Therapist Supervisor will assist in the management, supervision and support of the Radiation Therapist team and will coordinate an area of responsibility to efficiently plan and deliver accurate Radiation Therapy to patients.
This position will perform all aspects of Radiation Therapy Simulation, Planning, Treatment and Quality Assurance procedures for patients in accordance with departmental and evidence based protocols and practices.

Dubbo Health Service
Dubbo Health Service is a part of the Western NSW Local Health District and a major rural referral hospital providing critical care, specialist medical inpatient and outpatient services, surgery, mental health and many specialized allied health and medical outreach services.
We are currently undergoing a major transformation under the Dubbo Hospital Redevelopment Project to provide expanded and upgraded clinical services to the people of Western NSW.
As part of redevelopment, the Western Cancer Centre Dubbo is currently under construction and is expected to open in the middle of 2021. The centre will offer holistic cancer services to the Western Region, including 16 Chemotherapy chairs, Radiotherapy services, and for the first time a Positron Emission Tomography – Computed Tomography (PET/CT) Scan for cancer diagnostics will be available in a regional location.
