Rural Workforce Agency Victoria Grant & Scholarship

RWAV (Rural Workforce Agency Victoria) is a non-profit government funded organisation improving healthcare for rural, regional and Aboriginal communities in Victoria. RWAV are currently administering a CPD for Allied Health Practitioners Grant and Scholarship Program funded by the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services. This Grant and Scholarship Program supports rural allied health practitioners currently working in public, primary and community health services in rural Victoria to participate in education, conferences and skills development opportunities relevant to the development and provision of rural health services. Expressions of Interest (EOI) to fill a casual vacancy on the Advanced Practice Advisory Panel.

One casual vacancy currently exists on the Advanced Practice Advisory Panel. The final appointment will be recommended by the panel and is subject to Board Approval.

Nominees should possess a strong interest in the continuum of competency open to practitioners, with an emphasis on educational and advance practice issues. The invitation is open to all members currently engaged in academic or clinical practice.

Interested applicants will need to address the following criteria;

  • Current financial member of the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
  • Extensive clinical experience in Radiation Therapy
  • Demonstrable interest, knowledge or experience in education and clinical practice
  • Available to travel to meetings interstate up to twice per year
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliability and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
