AIR Secretariat Closed on 2 & 3 November 2015

The AIR's National Office (25 King Street, Melbourne) will be closed on Monday 2 November and Tuesday 3 November 2015.

The office will resume normal operations on Wednesday 4 November.

Funding Grants for Women in the Healthcare Sector

In 2015 Women & Leadership Australia is administering a national initiative to support the development of female leaders across all sectors.

From 1 July 2015 the initiative will provide women in the healthcare sector with grants for leadership development. More specifically, grant applications are open to women employed in the healthcare sector at two levels. Please click on the preferred program link for details.

  1. Senior Management and Executive level Women Leaders can apply for $12,000 Individual Grants to undertake the Advanced Leadership Program.
  2. Women Managers can apply for $4,500 Individual Grants to undertake the Accelerated Leadership Performance Program.

AHPRA Renewal Notices - AIR Insurance Details and Policy Number

Renewal notices have now been emailed by AHPRA to all MRS practitioners for the 2016 registration period. If you require information regarding your AIR insurance policy number, please go to the Certificate of Currency located in the members area (username and password required) under the resources tab, then member support, insurance and then halfway down the page under documentation.

If you are requiring a PII letter for AHPRA auditing purposes, please email your request to membership@air.asn.au.

The AIR is proud to introduce JobsAIR, a new job portal designed to help new radiography and radiation therapy graduates find supervised practice programme (SPP) positions.

The graduate launch of the website will be on 5 October 2015! If you are an employer and wish to post your SPP position, please visit jobsair.com.au. Be sure to register as an employer to post a new job.
