Journal of Medical Radiation Sciences (JMRS).

In 2013, the Journal of the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT),The Radiographer and the Journal of the New Zealand Institute of Medical Radiation Technology (NZIMRT), Shadows merged to form a joint journal.

The new joint Journal is called the Journal of Medical Radiation Sciences (JMRS).  JMRS is an international and multi-disciplinary, peer-reviewed Journal that accepts manuscripts related to medical imaging/diagnostic radiography, radiation therapy, nuclear medicine, medical ultrasound/sonography, and the complementary disciplines of medical physics, radiology, radiation oncology, nursing, psychology, and sociology.   JMRS is published by Wiley-Blackwell.   JMRS is fully open-access and is available online.

Publishing with JMRS

Four issues are published annually in March, June, September and December.

Examples of papers that JMRS publishes are original articles, commentary articles, case studies, articles on professional education and book reviews.

The ASMIRT and NZIMRT invite authors to submit their manuscript to JMRS.

Submission of Papers for Publication - ASMIRT Member Code

Prospective authors who are members of the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy submitting papers to JMRS should provide a unique code (available from the ASMIRT Members' Site - Resources / Publications / JMRS - username and password required) when uploading documents to the Wiley website - this will identify you as a member of the Societys.
